Personally I think that Robbie Keane is in theory a great buy for thc lub, and should be great sitting behind Torres. I hope that the practice lives up to the theory.
I am though slightly worried to find out where Gerrard will play in this new system. He could play wide right, and do a good job, but it is probably no the best use of his talents. Playing in the middle alongside Mascherano would be great, but may leave a lot of defenisve work on mascherano's shoulders. Any thoughts?

Well up to now Robbie Keane has had a few assists, one goal and a few missed opportunities,. apart from that he has usually been substituted and left the pitch with head down, even if he has contributed in other ways to the team performance.
Me for one thinks that things will improove for him before the end of the season.

Firstly, you must konw that Robbie Keane is one of the greatest player in the history of Hotspur, and now he is in his Golden age.He is also a clever striker, when he cooperate with Torres,he can hunt opportunities to show his assistance and help Torres score, then he can score when needed .in this case, they as well as Gerrard, all can be best use of their talents.
secondly,Liverpool,as a great club, needs more outstanding strikers to fight For champions in the 08-09 season. R Keane can enrich the requirement of liverpool's tactics systems!in conclusion,it is a good deal anyway!
