Things are tough all over! I have been lucky and am still employed, but I know of many who have been let go and are struggling. Take a deep breath, have patience and continue searching. I'm sure that something will turn up when you least expect it. Hang in there! It will get better!

I'm having a really hard time too. I finally got an interview but it's at a sub place but a job's a job I guess. I would rather work retail but I'll take what I can get.

I have a job at a bank right now with good benefits, but it doesn't pay enough. I've been looking to try to find a Part-time job somewhere else but it doesn't seem as though jobs are as plentiful as they used to be.
I used to tend bar and made good money but even in that industry I think the income is dwindling a little.
In fact, I am set to go out tomorrow to job hunt. Wish me luck -- and best wishes to you on finding a good job as well!

yes, i have had the same problem.
plus, i live in a very small rural town.
i do not wish to commute due to my mother's age and the cost of gasoline.
i've joined many employment websites (career link, schools, etc).
i spend much, much time filling out and mailing resumes, researching companies, asking friends, and everything i can think of.
times are hard right now. people are not quitting their jobs, so there are no openings.
the "down" time from job search is spent at my website (see below my profile photo) making as much money as i can. right now, of course, it can't begin to pay the bills, but it is a good, firm foundation !
