If you're lost...

No doubt about it.. I ask!!! I am horrible with directions to begin with so if I don't have my destination mapped out, forget it. If I have been to that place before, I can usually remember how to get there, but if I haven't....no way will I attempt to find it on my own. My brother has always told me I can't find my way out of a wet paperbag!!! How pathetic is that?? LOL

I would ask for directions even when I am inside a mall :-) I am not really good with directions and my spatial ability is perhaps the lowest if i'd rank my skills but I am street smart, I would ask two persons at least and then try to compare. I am also full of guts. I was able to roam around Singapore two days after I arrived there and my Aunt was really amazed. I have my map but still, I don't rely on it that much. I am glad there MRT is very reliable. Here in the Philippines, as long as I could get to EDSA or Manila City Hall, I would know which way I must take.

I wish I could say that I would stop and ask but I have proven the opposite to be true too many times. I drove from eastern oregon to Moses Lake WA for the first time and got completly lost twice on the way there and once on the way back...My only thought wasn't how can I get directions...it was " God, I hope I don't run out of gas before I find a station to fill up." I don't know why I won't ask but it seems strange to even me.

Asking for direction when lost is not my cup of tea... I would rather find it mysekf than asking any sirection to a stranger...

hi.. I'm not really good with directions and Im not used to travelling alone.. When Im lost, I would usually ask strangers. But I choose the persons I ask. Sometimes I ask security guards.. because if Im gonna rely on my own way, I might not be able to get there where Im supposed to be heading..

yeah i'm doing that i could ask strangers for directions but I'm try to make sure that they really now about it cause you could face many ppl just miss lead you to another way and this really wasting your time i lost my way once cause of one of theses irresponsible ppl whom told me a wrong info and this really wasted my time .

At first, I would try to take a minute and figure it out myself. Then, if I can't figure it out then I would definitely ask someone because I dont like to waste my time and my gas on being lost

i am a traveller and i like adventure!as such i have all different maps to the places i wud be going a lonely planet or anydirection or help available. but yes i do ask strangers for direction but i make sure it is right by seeing on the map, but i don't ask only person i ask atleast thre or four guys to see if they say the same thing to make sure of it. lols
