Should the US stop arresting marijauana users?

Theres a proposal by Rep. Barney Frank to end Federal penalties for Americans carrying less than 100 grams. That's nearly 1/4 of a pound. What do you think?

I don't think that it will pass. Now if you're wondering whether or not I think it's a good idea. Absolutely yes, it's a good idea. I think that that would lighten the load on our penal system and gives the cops time to look for real criminals.

I'm not sure I can support the idea of not arresting those carrying so much of it. Nearly 1/4 pound is a lot.

Sure, that's a lot to carry around with you, unless you are going to a party or something, but it's not so much to have at your house. You might just not want to run out.
