Coke or Pepsi?

I tasted coke. I tasted Pepsi. I can't tell which is best. Others say Coke is the best while others say Pepsi is the best. Well, I think it will really depend on ones tongue. For me, I like them both. I am fond of drinking softdrinks, be it Coke or Pepsi and even other brands of softdrinks. Too much sugar, right? Yes, and I am beginning to think of a way to cut down on softdrinks because I am becoming an addict of it. For my 5'2" height, my weight is not ok, that's because I consume too much sugar and caffeine, eats a lot and no exercise. I really to cut down and need to go to the gym. What's with Coke and Pepsi that I could not resist drinking?

First of all, I don't quite like drinking both of them. They just just all some sugar and some other mysterious ingredient in it, that's all. No nutrition, a lot of fat. It is acknowledgedly junk food. I suggest you to drink something more delicious and full of nutrition, just like acidophilus milk and soybean milk. Good luck to you!

I like them both as well but I prefer the taste of Pepsi compared to Coke since, as you mentioned, I feel the sweetness of Pepsi more. However, I drank more Coke than Pepsi. I really don't mind as long as it's real cold. I could only venture a guess but either of the two and water quenches thirst. The colas quench better, in terms of quality, but usually lasts shorter than water. Water, on the other hand, doesn't quench in a sweet way but it quenches me longer.

If your like me I enjoy that strong acidic taste you get. I usually drink one a day, but you know that the more sugar you drink the more you crave. You should really try limiting yourself it would be good for your health in the long run.

I think they both throw some secret ingredient in them so we can't resist their wonderfulness! LOL I usually always drink the Diet versions versus the regular but every once in awhile I gotta get a regular. Maybe once a week or once every couple weeks. It just hits the spot sometimes! But in all reality we should cut back on drinking regular soft drinks as much as we can. I have heard though in terms of exercising off the calories, it's easier to work off the real sugar in regular soda versus the imitation sugar in the diet versions. Not sure if that's exactly true though. As far as one over the other sometimes my tongue prefers coke and sometimes pepsi, just depends on my mood!

I always prefer Coke, I feel that they are different. Well, I can't tell what the difference is, and why I like Coke, I just think Coke tastes better.

I think its the caffeine and its also carbonated which makes it addictive and oohh so refreshing. But unlike you, I don't drink softdrinks that much. I only drink them when there is no other drink available and its just happen just very rarely. Sometimes I would go for weeks and even months without tasting one carbonated drink. I grew up with my parents and siblings so addicted to softdrinks that I no longer crave them anymore. I even remember my mother stocking on cases of coke. By the way, i would go for coke over pepsi since i think its better in taste.

i patronize both products, coke or pepsi. however, coke is more accessible in stores and in supermarkets, it seems that coke's appearance is more attractive to buy. in terms of taste, coke tastes a little flat while pepsi is sweeter. well, this is just based on my opinion. but now, i enjoy coke zero. is it true that it has no sugar at all? meaning no additional fat can be gained when drinking it?

COKE...COKE...COKE I started out with Pepsi & got burntout. Once I switched to Coke, I couldn't go back. When the New Coke came out, I went thru DTs. YES I'm addicted. YES I need to STOP. Will I??? Noooooooooooo. I have cut back some & workin on cuttin More. I've tried goin cold turkey but I'm not that strong. A respectful man & an iced cold Coke are the ONLY 2 vices I have. When my time's up I want my man by my side with a Coke in his hand.

Well personaly i feel both these drinks are full of sugar and can not help me to gain health from it.They will eventually increase our weight because of excess sugar.Well we have to do more exercise as well as more work out to make our self healthy. So i think its better to leave both the drinks and enjoy sugar free black coffee.

The Coke and the Pepsi, they both have a secret compound I think that attract you so much.you must try to go to gym and do more exercise meanwhile reduce the drinking Coke or Pepsi, why not try to drink some beverage without sugar?

Hello! I think that both are great, there is no way to tell which one is better because each one has their own characteristics. It's hard to choose between one of them. Now, you CAN resist them if you wish. There is nothing holding you into them. What if the Pepsi or the Coke industries stop producing their products? I am sure that you will not die because of it. You will miss it in the first months, but later you will just get used. It's basically the same. Imagine that there is no coke anymore in the world, just stop drinking! It is all in your mind, and you are the only one who can take it out. Respectfully, Munhozmib.

I prefer Pepsi myself. I think it is sweeter tasting than coke and not as fizzy. I will drink Coke if there is no Pepsi around though. Both are equally bad for you health wise, but they are so tasty. I know that all they are is empty calories, and they are loaded with sugar and caffeine. That is why they are addictive. I have cut down on my consumption of Pepsi, however when I have pizza or burgers I always craze at least one glass of Pepsi! Have a great day and happy myLotting!

I looooveee my Pepsi, but if i am in my kick where im trying to only drink Diet, then it has to be Diet coke, i cant stand Diet Pepsi, its weird cuz i like only regular pepsi and only Diet on the Coke...lol I found though that switching to the diet soda, for me anyway alone, without any other hcanges i can lose 2 pounds in a week. So add in some exercise every cpl days and can double that..but then you have to change it up a bit and change another part of the diet, maybe one less can of soda and replace it with a bottle of water. I know the tricks that work for me, but i dont always stick to all of them. I am currently on week 7 of no regular pop (unless out at a restaraunt) and going to the gym at least twice a week, and am down 14 pounds. I have lots to go, but if i can actually stick to somethign for more than a cpl months i could lose it. Good luck.

I need to cut down on my sugar highs too. I like Coca Cola better but it was really Pepsi's fault I use to drink Pepsi when I was a kid because of their commercials appealing to me more. Than they had that blind test and I tried both and came to the conclusion that Pepsi had a bad after taste (also taste too much like sugar) so the joke was on Pepsi they lost a lot of cash when I switched to coca cola I drink insain amounts a few truckloads by now.

to be it told i would pick coke over pepsi, but i like them both. coke seems to have a better taste, but pepsi has a better cherry flavored drink.
