Is there any sort of central website for playing AD&D games on the net?

There have to be people who do this; rather than sitting round a table, they meet up in IRC or something and play sessions. Anyone know of any sites where you can arrange sessions like this?
Tried googling, and naturally, DDO gets in the way of any kind of useful phrasing.
Oh, and I've seen the OpenRPG client, and it frightens even a diehard geek like me. I want to join a RPG game, not launch the Space Shuttle.

Honestly, I don't do D&D...but I've done White Wolf in my life and it's fun. I started doing it about five years ago and even though I don't play by the rules, I still have fun with the friends I've met over the years...and over the world.

Now..if you're a stickler for rules, then join the MODs...but if you're like me and just like to relax, then try the Unmods. Either way, I have yet to build a space shuttle, but I've build memories and friendships.
