Is there a limit to number of responses per day?

Is there a limit or cap on the number of responses that we can do per day? The ones that make the number behind our name go up? I was just wondering as I didn't see anything about this in the FAQ and I don't want to post too much that I get in trouble or get my account suspended.

There's no limit to how much you can post in a day as long as all your posts are within the guidelines. If you type fast and have a lot of time you could do a few hundred a day if you wanted. Just don't leave one word responses to get your post count up...that is frowned on and could get you banned or at least give you a really low reputation.

Thanks for the great reply!! Whenever I respond to a discussion I always try and do 3 lines minimum but love to do a lot more. One word responses are silly and just a waste of time in my opinion and doesn't seem like the right thing to do.

Nope, not at all. You can post as many times as you want, but posting more than once to any one discussion won't get you any more points.

I'm pretty sure there is no limit or cap on the amount of responses. If you have time and are bored and can type and think of a lot to say then you can do a 100 or more am guessing because I have never heard that there is a limit to it. I think if they did and you reached it some kind of message would pop up. Happy mylotting.

Thanks for the response! I have quite a bit of downtime at work and tend to be good at multi-tasking so when I am here I have a tendency to post a lot more than when I am at home. :o)

no theres not any limit to the amount of response you can do in a day... trust me.
