Which do you prefer? I myself have XM installed in my car and I love it. My sister's car came with 6 months free of Sirius and after being in her car I love XM even more. I don't know if we just haven't been able to find the right channels on Sirius yet but they don't seem to have as good of ones as XM does. Especially when it comes to like Top 40 pop hits and stuff. What does everyone else think?

I've only heard Sirius (at a friend's home); my car was supposed to come with XM, but because I bought it used, I never really got a chance to compare. I heard that one is buying the other though, and they're just waiting for the FCC to approve the deal...I wonder if Sirius was bankrupted spending all that money for Howard?

I heard the other day that the FCC approved the deal so they will be merging. I'm curious to know when it's going to start to take effect and what exactly is going to change in their programming, or if we're going to have to upgrade our receivers or anything. I certainly hope not!

This should be quite interesting...I know my car has an XM receiver, but my girlfriend has a Sirious receiver in her van. What a mess!

I don't have either so I don't know which is better. But I just heard on the news yesterday that sirus and xm have merged. The companies are now together and are going to be called sirus xm radio. So maybe with the merge they will combine stations and you will be able to find more you like.

Yeah I heard as well that they finally approved the merger. I'm a little leary though as I don't want them to get rid of my favorite channels!!!
