Is John Mayer on Drugs?

Is John Mayer on drugs? I have noticed his eyes get more and more popped out from when he started out. His eyes seem to also have a reddish tint in them. Way he talks also seems a lot slower than when he started out. I havn't heard any reports about it but he is in the business where drug use is very common.
