How to make battered fried potatos.

Try this its cheap and easy.
Heat a pot full of oil. Mix flour, corn meal, water, salt, pepper and spices you love into a bowl. Make the batter a little thicker than pancake batter. Slice a raw potato with the skin still on it. Dip the potato slices into the batter then drop into hot oil. Turn the slices over in the oil until the batter is firm and golden on all sides. Remove and drain on a cloth or paper towel. Salt lightly and eat.

Those sound really pretty good. I like to eat fries and havent made any recently. I may make those the next time I make fries. They sound like they would be very delicoous,

That sounds good, there is a store near where I live and they do that to their tators, I've always wondered how they make the batter for them. I think I might try this...Thanks

oooo this is the second recipe I have found for corn meal.. So I guess I will be buying some now!! I didnt want to buy it for 1 meal but now for 2 things.. works for me!!
Someone take pictures of theirs when they make them & post it!! I will do so to mine!!
