How do you view hiden folders on your computer?

I was trying to hide a file from on my fathers computer. NOw i dont know how to view the file. I clicked on hide file, and it dissapeared. How do i view it?

Choose "Tools" on toolbar, then "Folder options...", mark "view", "Advanced settings", "Hidden files and folders", choose "Show hidden files and folders". Finally, don't forget press key "OK". Then Ok. Hope you will find the file you want.

Well to be able to see the hidden files again you have to pick in the Tools menu Folder Options then on the pop out menu select view and choose show hidden files. That is if you are using XP like me, but if you are not better search the net. I hope this helps.
