I am mostly internet dependent for news although I sometimes watch the BBC or the local evening news. I think you get more views on the internet and more divergent people. In terms of money, I'm entirely dependent on the internet. The only other money I get comes from the government once a month. Although that won't be the case much longer as I'm getting a job writing a newsletter for a non-profit disability organization. It will be helpful to me to actually have a boss I can go complain to if I don't get paid which seems to be a problem for me lately. My current bosses I can only send email.

that is an accurate statement. i need it to check things out, get information. check my bank account, buy things in a pinch. etc. it is a lifeline.

I wouldnt say I depend on the internet.
do i want to live without it? HECK NO!!!! lol.
but I get information for lots of other sources besides the internet, so if it were to vanish my life would go on.
people sometimes forget before internet we had books and flyers and magazines and other sources for getting information. so its not as though we would all not learn new things.
