I guess my Bible history is a bit rusty but I can't remember Jesus sending someone after he went to heaven. What I remember is that he left us his Apostles blessed by the Holy Spirit with the tongues of fire. I even remember Jesus making Peter the rock to which he will be the foundation of the Church.

before Jesus go to heaven, he made many instructions to his disciples on how and what to do, like what is written in the bible..the Holy spirit will help them
