Yeserday my son and I went to the beach. We had a very nice day digging in the sand, and splashing in the water. He missed his afternood nap so was a little naughty when we got home. He is 15 months and gets in distructive mode when he is over tired. When we got home it was to late to put him down for a nap, because he would have slep until 8:00 then been up until 12:00 am. So I desided if I could just get a couple hours he could go to bed a little earlier. Anywhy, we came and and he was in distructive mode from one think to another. First he pulled all the pictures out of the side cuboards of the entertainment center, then he reached a plant leave and pulled the entire plant down. After thatn her moved to the kitched and pulled all the tupperware out of "his" cupboard. (which is not that big of a deal because I made that cupboard for him.) He them proceeded to the dogs bowl and took a handfulll of food and threw it toward the dog. So in a little fustration from picking up right behind him and trying to put supper on, I bend down and say his name and middle name then asked hime why he has to be so distructive. He looked at me with his big brown eyes and when mmmmmmmmmmm and gave me a great big kiss. Now how could I be mad at that?
What about you, what do you kids do to make you smile?

It's natural for children to be naughty especially in their NO-NO stage which is between 2-3 years old. That's why we have to pay close attention to them and remain firm and consitent when we try to correct their unpleassnt behaviour. My son does a lot of funny things that brings laughter at home. It makes me smile when I look at him acting like a grown-up who can manage to do things by himself. They are like that sometimes. Children tend to act like they know what they are doing and they are sure of what they are saying. Hmmmm...I guess my son did a lot of things that each memory of it always make me smile even when I am at the middle of my work...
My son is 2 years and a half. Last month, we went to the shopping mall. He asked me to buy him a toy. We don't want him to get used to asking something everytime we go to the shopping mall. But it was promised so my husband and I allowed him to pick a toy of his choice not exceeding our budget. He picked a cheap car. He wanted me to pay for it and he rushed to the cashier. I called him and told him he doesn't have any money yet so he opened his palm waiting for us to give him the bill. And so we did. He went to the cashier all by himself. He told the cashier that he wants to buy the car and he puts the money on the desk. Without thinking, staring at my little boy, the cashier hurriedly punched in the item not noticing the angry stare of the people in line. I just looked at him. So maturedly "dealing" with adults as if like he's one of them. When the bagger handed him the bag where his toy was in it, he sways the bag and proudly walks looking around for us. When I called him he happily shouted "mom, I got a new toy!" raising the bag towards me.
I guess what realy makes me smile is when I see how well my husband and I raised our son. Every bit of him is a bunch of laughter to us!
