How many of you want money and happiness? How many of you want money without happiness? I'm sure you want money and happiness. But do you know what the bible says about wealth? In the old testament, we find great wisdom about private property. I leveticus 25, it teaches that after 49 years-called the jubilee year-the land is returned to the original owners. This reestablishes equality again. Here in the Philippines, someone once told me that 500 families own 80% of the country. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer. If we are living in the old testament times, and the law of jubilee were applied, that wouldn't happen. because on the year of jubilee, all the land will be redistributed back to all of its original owners. But this law can't obviously applied anymore today. But we can apply the spirit of this law. Which is this: You don't have absolute right over your hard-earned money and private property. God owns all that you have. Some people say, "After I give 10% to God, I can do what i want to do with the 90%!" NOT exactly. God owns 100% of your wealth. You're not the owner of your car, of your house, of your business. Do you agree with me guys?
