I have a twin sister!

Would you believe that we are born on the same day but with 19 years of gap? Unbelievable? Well the truth of this is we are not really twins. It just happen that we have the same birthdays and we are in the same office. We call each other as "kambal", Filipino term for twins. And so we became best friends. And we will gonna celebrate our birthdays together.
Do you have a twin? Or did you wish you have one?

Hi best. First of all, I want to greet you a very happy birthday. I don't have a twin in my real life. But just like you, I have a friend, we're in the same peer group when we were still in high school. We were born on the same date and on the same time. Coincidence ha. Since our freshman year, we call each other kambal (twin) too. Keep posting best. HUGZ!

I don't have a twin but I have a twin grandchildren, both boys. They are my love and my joy. They are now going to their 3 years... very cute... very smart... very joyful and they bring sunshine to our home. I once have prayed of giving birth to a twin but I did not not. But God answered my prayer in a different way. Now, I have a twin... a twin of my own. Thank God!

neildc, no i do not have a twin.Glad you have this special friend that was born on the same day as you, that you are so close to that you consider them as your twin, I think this is great, even though this person is 19 years younger than you are.Age really is nothing but a number.Good you can celebrate your birthdays with one another..

I have an uncle and 2 cousins that were born on the same day only years apart and the girl my brother dated for awhile was born on the same day, same year, but a few hours apart. My son and my father were born on the same day 51 years apart. My daughter was born on one of her uncles birthdays as well.
To answer your question though. No, I am not a twin and no I have never wished that I was a twin.

I have a twin brother, there is 25 minutes between us - me being the eldest. We have always had joint birthday parties. On our first birthday we had one cake, one side was iced in blue and the other pink with a number one candle in the middle.
I think its great that you and your sister celebrate you birthdays together. Is nice that you have become best friends, brothers and sisters dont normally become best friends in the UK. They tend to be friend and thats all.
Do you think you would have this close bond if you didnt share the same birthday??

i guess that made us more closer to each other, our birthdays. with our office mates here, we two both came from different places, i mean we are not origins of the place. she grew up in the south while i was from the north. we speak the same language other than the native language here. we two are the only people in the office that speaks together in "tagalog", while "cebuano" is the native language here. thanks for sharing my friend.

I wish I have twins to but like you I have a "twin" which is my bestfriend too. I think it was really good if you do have twins. Imagine you have a walking and real look-alike person near you that is when you really look the same. But i was hoping I can have twin baby.

Hello again neil, I don't have a twin, but my my sister and I the same birthdate. Really it's true, on my 6th birthday my mother had my baby sister. We are soooo different, she was blond and fair skin growing up and I was olive skinned and dark hair. She has blue eyes and mine are dark brown. Anyway just thought I'd add to your discussion with my little story. Sometimes it's nice to share and at other times maybe, not so much! Happy mylotting!!!!!

I don't have a twin and as I don't have siblings I would find it rather strange to have a twin. I do understand how nice it is to have someone to celebrate birthdays with. A friend of mine became very close friends when we realised that our birthdays were within a few days of each other. We began the tradition of 'birthday week!'!

Nice Story, my friend told me that she knows someone who shares with me the same birthday and also the same year.Another is I found someone here in mylot that shares with me the same name, school and interest in magic I have always wanted a twin though but sadly I don't have one.

i sometimes wish i don't have a twin. having a twin for me is just like having a rivalry.. i don't like it. Almost every thing that you have should be shared with your twin. you can not have the privacy you wanted to..
but on the other hand.. i love having a twin because if you felt that the world is against you, you can still have her. she can be someone you can run to in times of happiness and sadness. she can be your crying shoulder and can trust to with your secrets..
now you choose: do you still want to have a twin?

Hi neil thats brilliant am glad that you have a sister it is amazing that you were born on the same day as well..I havent got a twin but do have two sisters and dont really think I'd like to have a twin-for one I'm quite a handful as it is littleowl

i have a twin. i was born January 12, @ 11:45pm and she was born January 13 @ 12:05am. i just found out about that during my 19th birthday. but we celebrate it together on the 13th.
i also have a fraternal younger siblings just next to us. they were fraternal since they have different features.. boy and girl.
sometimes watching them made me think what really is the feeling of having a twin.. i mean not for me but for them..
