i am a bill collector lol. yes i am the person you all hate. i am the one that calls and wants your money for services you dont want anymore or for services you cant afford any longer. i do cell phone collections. i get cussed out more times in one day then anyone it seems. i am the one that calls that you lie to and say you are not home. i am the one that you pick up the phone and say not answering it lol. what alot of people dont think about though is i can help you get svc back on. i can give discounts for you to get that cell phone to work again. i can work with you for as little as 25.00 a month so that you can get svc again one day so that it doesnt take 100 points off your credit score. lol. no really it isnt a bad job. i couldnt do medical collections but cell phones i have no issues with cause well that is a luxury that people get and then dont want to pay for. when people get it and then something happens like lost job, got sick, etc i can try and help so i like it.

I teach for a living and have done it for almost 15 years now. I am also a certified mortgage orginator but have done little with it. My big passion is to work on my web site, it is on my picture, and doing things for the needy in my community. I have been accepted into a PhD program but haven't decided whether I want to spend the money and go that route. I am also meditating on teaching at the college level part time as well as opening up a business if I can find the right partners. I wonder if other people out there are in the same situation: I am too young to retire and too old to go back home. What will I really end up doing when I grow up?

I am a wildland firefighter, work for the Forestry Service. I did it with a volunteer fire dept in Texas for 9 years, and did all my training there also. After I was on my first fire, I knew I loved it. I moved to PA a little over 3 years ago, and a year and half ago was hired with the forestry service as a fire patrolman. I love my job, we work 9 months on and 3 months off (Novemeber to March). However, this year has been tough for me, since I was put on medical leave a month after we went back to work. An injury that happened on one of the fires we were working. I was prepared to go right on working, but my chief put me on med. leave. As it looks now, I'm not sure I will get to go back this season, before we all go on leave in November.

I manage a small library/learning center in my neighborhood. I like it but I wish I could get more hours or more money or both, lol.

That is so true! I just think I would like to move up the ladder more. There is really no where to move up in the program I am in right now. I think working at a larger library would be better or for the Library Association maybe.
