late last year the name paris hilton have been hitting the silver screen and all around the world from the us to europe to asia her name have been mentioned her face seen on the silver screen and in the internet she is the number one famous searched person. now it seems that she has shied away from the press. does it have something to do with her being an heiress to a billion dollars?

No, it has something to do with her having spent time in jail because of repeated DUIs. She told everybody she would straighten out her life and not be such a party girl anymore but focus more on philantrophy. Well, thus far she seems indeed to be less of a party girl although she has been seen at bars, night clubs, and such on occasion. As for her philantrophic ambitions, none of it made headlines, if she pursued any of it.
Keep in mind that most of her party friends had troubles with the law as well or got settled into married/family life. And quite frankly, I for one am glad that she doesn't make the daily headlines anymore. I didn't particular like her or her behavior.
