We had a chinchilla once. Sad to say he passed away. He would follow my mom whenever she had slippers on at night. He heard the noise of the slippers and would follow behind her. He was very fast, whenever he got out of the cage it took us forever to catch him. He was so soft though. Very soft and fast. When you went to try and pick him up he would take off and he was very fast. It was funny to watch him take a dust bath.

My cat Jake is so unique, you would think he is a dog instead of a cat. He cries when my husband leaves the house. Every move my husband makes Jake will jump down from the window to follow him.
He will sit on the ottoman in front of my husband's chair and just stare at him. He will try to get into the smallest box. Plus he likes the fish food. Each morning before my husband feeds the fish, Jake will start meowing until my husband opens the container and gives him some. Afterwards, jakie is licking lips, licking lips.

my friend had a very agressive cat named fargo (after the movie) and he hissed at everyone and everything! in fact, my friend used to carry around a squirt bottle to scare him away. but when fargo wanted to snuggle, he was a very nice cat. i cat sat him for a couple of weeks and hated it!

The oddest pets I ever owned were a pair of hermet crabs that my daughter brought home from a science camp. We had them for about a year before they passed away. Their names were Henry and Casey. I just read an article in our local paper about a woman who has had a pair of hermit crabs for about 25 (or was it 35?) years, which is longer than books say that hermit crabs live in captivity. It also said that she was a microbiologist so maybe her science background has helped her keep them healthy.

The oddest pets I had growing up were 3 baby armadillos we found at a small park near my moms house. I think the mother just left them there and since they were all alone we took them home. I have always been an animal lover and i do not like to see animals suffering in any kind of way.

I have a snail once, I found it when I take out bucket meal from KFC. It was crawling on the plastic when I take of the bucket. Me and my sister kept it for 3 days and we realized that we could not keep it any longer because we don't know what to feed it.

My two cats i have now are awesome one is on my lap now and the other destroying my room. They love the weirdest things. The big one loves boxes and he will try go get in any box. The smaller one loves shoes and sticking her head in them. They are also very big and love food an costantly howl for food. There only 4 but get into so much mischief
