Do I hear thunder?

It has stormed here nearly every day since the beginning of June. Some days, the winds get so strong that we find branches in the roads and sometimes we see trees that have fallen in people's yards. We've only had one or two days where we have had flash flooding watches. The ground is saturated, but since most of the area has a lot of sand, it filters quickly, so we don't have much to worry about. Usually, we get this sort of weather in May or April.
Has anyone else been getting daily showers these last several months?

Are you in Florida like I am? We've been getting our daily hit or miss afternoon storms...and some morning ones which are unusual...but we really need the rain so I don't mind seeing it. I live out near Lake Okeechobee and we've been very concerned about the low level of the lake since last year so any rain that is not a hurricane is okay by me!

Haha, I do! But, I live in Northwest Florida, near Alabama. rather than the southern area. We usually get them around noon every day, or early afternoon. Sometimes we get them in the morning, and sometimes we get them late at night, too. But, definitely not as often.
