Anyone dealing with a child who is ready to leave the nest?

I am so proud of my child! He will be graduating from high school in May '09 and already has plans for college, career, and monies for a IRA. Is there anyone out there who has a child who is preparing for the next phase in their life?

Oh yeah! I have one that married in March and left..and two sons ready to go to college away next September! It is hard..but we raised them to have lives and independence, so as hard as it is, I am happy for them and they are all excited!
Cry when they are not looking? But support them in their decision to go to get more education! I feel for you there, "mom!" (Kinda a bittersweet time, isn't it?)
