Hi kingcrapper (I won't even ask you what that name means...) Anyhoo, I don't vacuum or dust everyday but I do wipe off counters, rinse dishes and load the dishwasher, and do stuff like that everyday. It is frustrating sometimes how quickly a house can get dirty after we clean it, isn't it? Now that it's just my husband and I, it's much easier to keep the house clean. He's finally a believer in removing his shoes at the door. That limits the dirt coming in to the house, which is a great help. So, there's no reason to vacuum or sweep all the time. So, even though my husband doesn't actually do the cleaning, his habits around the house help keep the house cleaner. Hang in there, kingcrapper. As you kids mature, if you are training them in certain habits, they will eventually learn and practice them.

I clean a little every day. maybe dust one day..laundry a different one. I take my time, don't do it all in one day and relax.

I straighten up everyday, I probably clean at least two times a weeks. I do vacuum everyday though. I can't stand a dirty house and since we move every three months I have to get a new cleaning routine each time. I'm home with the kids and they can mess up stuff pretty quick. They do have their chores and most of the time I let them clean it their way just to give them an idea of what it takes, a little appreciation goes a long way. I've seen people with those little wooden plaques that say, "I cleaned my house yesterday, you should have seen it.", and of course their house is usually a dump. I'm going to get one made that says, "I just cleaned my house, get the heck outta here!" What cha think?

I try to do a little something each day, even if it's a little wipe here and there. I have two cats and the hair has to be kept up with. I find myself giving the bathroom a once over while I'm using it. It really doesn't take that long. I remember when my kids were little they each had a little something to do. I tried to make them at least pick up their rooms or there was alot of hollering going on and grounding. They got the drift of it.

Yes, I usually clean something on a daily basis. It is usually me who does most of the housework as far as cleaning goes, my wife does not help with the physical tasks other than laundry

I know the feeling of wanting to keep the house clean. Now mind you, I have one child compared to the house full of kids you mention. It must not be easy. I also like to keep the floor swept pretty regularly and I do it mostly by myself and sometimes my husband helps me. It is good to have a little help once in a while though. I also like to make sure the sink is clean and the dishes washed. Have a good day and try to relax if you can.
