How long do you think the series will last?

Well am waiting for the fourth one eagerly.This is my favorite movie ever..

I think that after 3 it's going to start going down hill. I love shrek, but the first one was definetly the funniest. After having kids in the third one, the storyline pretty much has to involve their kids now which will take away from shrek as the main character. If the writing is really good, a fourth might do ok, but then after that i don't know. Look at the Land before time movies. The first one was a huge hit so they made more, now their are like 10 of them out on video but everyone lost interest.
