she was still alive. I have read somewhere that the day we died becomes our new birthday. I am wondering how many people think this is truth and how can I remember my aunt on her real birthdate in a way that is a loving one. So here are two questions: Do you think the day we died becomes our new birthdate? And how do we honor our loved ones on their birthdate?

I'm not certain that the day we die becomes our new birthdate, although anything is a possibility. It will be my mothers birthday in a couple of days, she would have been 89 this year. I shall remember her on that day by thinking about all the things she did while she was alive, like raising me and helping me become whatever it is I have become I do hope that your aunt is resting in peace

I have been thinking about when we die being a new birthday for us ever since I read about it. Part of me finds it can be truth and another part finds it also sad. Your mom was a leo you know. And she did a good job with you. I also hope my aunt is in peace.

I'm glad you think she did a good job with me I have no doubt that my Mom would be very pleased with you and how you keep me in line. The only thing that would bug her is this beard!

I don't think the day we die becomes our new birthdate, but I still think it should be a special day to think about the ones lost, and to think of all the good times we had with them.

Thanks for the response and it does make sense to me. I have been thinking of my aunt all day long and wishing she could have seen this birthday too.
