Lovin the coast!

Okay, so my husband is thinking about switching from the Marine Corps to the Army or Coast Gurad (two completely different routes). The only problem I have with this is that I may not get to stay in eastern NC where all my family is and where I grew up. Someone please tell me what ups there are to Quantico VA and Ft. Bragg NC. Am I going to go crazy in these towns?
