That's not only happens in India actually, it is still happening in most of places in this world. I know that it isn't fair but we are living in the world of patriarchy where the man make the rules. I believe that actually both men and women has the same compatibility to compete in the world, but the had different opportunity.
It is good to know that there are still some people who really care about this issue, but it is not only to be questioned all the time. People should make an action to change this unfair situation.
I am not going to do that on my children. I am not a sexist person who believe that difference in sexuallity is a different in life opportunity.

We have another new myLotter! Welcome.
India has risen to incredible heights in many ways, but a lot of the social mores there are still soewhere in the 19th century. Many of India's people are obeying religions that claim superiority for men. Somehow, some day, people will accept that mankind includes womenas equals, but when a belief is based in faith, it's going to take a long, long time!
Odd, isn't it, that India has had females in the office of Prime Minister!
