My daughter used to have dandruffs then she separately used another shampoo,an antidandruff one.Since she used that she never have a dandruff anymore.Lately i found out i have it also.I figured it caused by my conditioner.I don't stick to one brand.I used any conditioner after another.Anyway, i got this tips to share with you how to get rid of dandruff...
-Wash your hair. In mild cases of dandruff, regular shampoo will usually wash away the flakes and restore some moisture. For more serious cases, use a dandruff shampoo with zinc, sulphur, tar or selenium among the ingredients. Rotate between different products to maximize results.
-Apply small amounts of hydrocortisone lotion to the itchy or irritated areas of the scalp. This will relieve some of the discomfort and resettle visibly irritated skin.
-Apply a few drops of olive oil or hair oil to the scalp and gently spread evenly over your entire head.
-Take a multivitamin and a vitamin B2 supplement to treat and prevent future outbreaks of dandruff.
-Cut back on your use of hair care and styling products. When used excessively, the same products that would otherwise prevent dandruff, can cause it. Dandruff also occurs when different types of hair care products are mixed together.

Hi friend, i have this problem. I tried almost all shampoo's. I don't want to refer their name.
Now i started trying Natural methods. For that i am using gram flour powder. It is effective. Smear lemon juice over scalp before shower. Try these two. Thanks

Hey there! Well, I had quite a good fight with dandruff a few years back. When I was still in high school, I have dandruff and I don't use other hair products, only shampoo. When I got into college, I used to apply gel on my hair at least 3-4 times per week. A month later, I noticed I already am having severe flaking on my hair. It was my mistake to use the product as it isn't suitable for my hair.
The problem got worst but good thing, with a little bit of experimentation, I found a shampoo that got rid of my dandruff even up to now as we speak. Head and Shoulders. I'm not 100% sure about it but some shampoos may be good for a certain type of hair, hence, the bottles/sachets usually state what type of hair it's suitable for. When I use a different shampoo, flakes start to appear. So, now, I don't use any other hair products. My hair is very sensitive. See 'ya around my friend.
