So has anyone figured out how many images we're allowed to upload a day?

I think it may be 15 or so; I was responding to comments on my discussion, and adding images to each response. I went to respond to another discussion from yesterday, and I was given a message like, Try Again Later. I haven't tried it again, but now I'm wondering, what's the greatest number of images you've tried to upload to discussions?

I didn't realise that there was any limit on posting photos. That's probably because I don't do it very often. I'm never sure where we're supposed to get the photos from. I'm too worried about infringing copyright laws to take them from other websites , (even though I know probably everybody does it), and my own photos aren't varied enough to cover many interest categories or discussions! It's good to learn something new though.

We're supposed to post our own images, but I really don't think they enforce it. I mean, trying to determine which images are copyrighted and which are royalty-free...makes my head want to explode! I've added some of my own to my profile page, and my avatar is a doctored image of my dog Floyd I took (I didn't want anyone to see just how BAD the wall was behind him, so I fixed it!)

Haha. Didn't notice the wall - too busy checking out Floyd!
Unless they have changed the rules here, you only got money for pics attached to a post. Like when you make a post, to the bottom left of the text box is a blue link 'add an image'.
Also you had to have 500+ posts under your belt to earn from them but I stand to be corrected on that number.

smacks, those pictures I mentioned are the ONLY images that I'm 100% positive of being royalty-free since I took them! But I added a LOT of pictures yesterday (til they froze me out!), and it appears to have helped ($1.02 in earnings)!
too busy checking out Floyd
He's definitely a handsome dog! My daughter nick named him Stud Puppy; unfortunately, between my having MS and being too weak to really care for him, as well as my being unemployed, I was forced to surrender him to the local shelter.

vikas, I was referring to images attached to discussions (like what I did above). You have to post 500 qualified responses before they'll allow you to do that. And welcome to myLot--I see you're still relatively new. Did you post your pictures in your profile? Thanks for the response!

As I remember it was 15 to 20 before you get the 'try again' message.
It was introduced when you got a cent a pic and the earnings were shown seperatly in your account. As usual, some members tried to tear the ring out of it and started posting dozens and dozens of pics like spam. So Mylot had to put a limit on pics.
I have managed two pics with posts in a day but then the pics were carefully chosen to match the topic of the discussion.

Thanks for letting me know! I think I posted 10 (at least) in a row before I began to get the 'try again' message; I waited a couple of hours and made some other posts. Then I was able to post I think five more...and since I just posted two more, I won't add one here.
