I have 3 sisters... no brothers. Well, I love my sisters even if we have differences. I'm the second daughter and our eldest is just a year older than me. Since high school days we never get along well, we fight all the time. But even if that's the case, I can never think of harming my sister. In times of troubles, we still stick together just like how families should be. I love my sisters, all three of them, I even think I spoil my youngest sister too much, I like to see them happy, what can I do? :)

Hello iyah10,
I do not only have a sister - I have 6 elder sisters! I am the youngest daughter in the family and I come from a very big family *smiles* Of course, it is good to have many siblings. You can share your secrets, you can fight and argue and you can share all things with them if you wish to. I was very much pampered and since I am the youngest sister, all of them love me so much. But time changed. When each of them got married, life changed. They have their own family to attend to, to give their full attention and I do feel a bit distant from them. I am not too close with all my sisters except the eldest one as I spent more time staying with her during my younger time. I remember one time when I quarreled with my fifth sister, we ignored each other for the whole day but deep down in our heart, none of us could stand the silent treatment. So, to break the silence I took the first step - I wrote an apology letter to her and put under her pillow. I was afraid to talk to her face to face. That night before sleeping, I heard her weeping. When everyone was fast asleep, I woke up and looked at her. She was crying while holding my letter in her hand. I felt guilty to make her sad as I love her very much. Whenever I look back the past, when we're just small kids, I just couldn't hold my tears. There are so much memories we shared together!

I have 3 sisters, we get along pretty good, we don't live that close together so we don't get to see each other that often, but we like to get together for b-days and stuff. During the summer we like to have cookouts, and have time to hang out with each other. Growing up, we fought like all siblings do, but as we got older we learned to appreciate each other better. I also have one brother, he's spoiled, we spoiled him, now we're paying for it..lol.

So nice to hear. I have four sisters and have been away from them for over ten years. Not because of choice really, I came to the US as an international student and the advisor was against travelling overseas after the terrorists attack at World trade center. I miss them and am hoping to be reunited with them shortly.

I have one sister but she lives across the country. We weren't particularly close growing up and went our separate ways in adulthood. I had a family early, she traveled with her 2 best freinds and ended up starting a new life 3,000 miles away. Her friends were her sisters. Then she started a family and a career. We just never forged a bond.
Now , my children are grown and hers are almost. We spent a vacation together lately and reconnected (well we never WERE connected). Now we speak frequently. I plan on visiting her soon for some more sister time.

Hi Iyah, I have a sister who's 10 years younger than me. She was born when I was 11, and both my parents were busy working, so most of the time, I took care of her. We were very close, and when I started working, I would take her shopping with me on most weekends.
Now that we are both married and have our own families, we are still very close. I don't have any kids; she has 3, and I love them just like my own.
We have our ups and downs, you know, like quarrels, arguements and all; but I really am thankful for a sister like her.

Hi there! Yes, I have a sister which is younger than me. Having a sister has advantages and disadvantages, as well. If you have a sister, you have someone to talk to, to confide with. You share your experiences in almost everything. I never get jealous with my sister coz she's younger than me. The only thing I hate with my sister is when she's using my clothes without my knowledge. i let her borrow my clothes. I just don't like the idea of using it without my permission. Aside from that, I don't have any problem with her. In fact, i miss her. She has her own family too and she lives in the province with her husband. We seldom see each other anymore.

I have two sisters! One is 8 and the other 16 :) They are the most amazing people ever. There isn't a quiet moment when we spend time together. As one is only small we have to do most things in the daytime, we have sleepovers though which she loves :) And they both come to my apartment for ice cream and movies :)

hello iyah :-) There’s an impression that it is nice to be the only girl in the family as they tend to be spoiled and pampered. Anyway, I have 3 sisters. I came from a big family, we are eight in all. I have two brothers and 3 sisters. I am the youngest in the family though and I grew up watching my sisters with awe. They are all very pretty especially the eldest who even once compete for a local beauty contest here in our city. There are lots of reasons to feel insecure sometimes as I am a late bloomer but I strive to improve myself. I admire them but also felt that I am inferior compared to them. Anyway, now I think I have finally bloomed and people now also see me as pretty. They will comment that everybody in our family is pretty and someone even said that I am the prettiest though it is not true. Anyway I am proud of my sisters and love them!

I have a sister and also a brother. We cannot get along very well with my sister but we love each other.Sometimes we have big fights and sometimes we are like two best friends.I haven't had problems with my brother since he is calm and easy-going.
I am an irritating person I know that.I am not an easy-going person and my sister is the same so I think it is normal when two similar- behavioured people get together
they are likely to have problems with each other.
We love each other very much even though sometimes we hurt each other's feelings.
