If you have been together six years and have three kids, why bother getting married? Just enjoy living together and loving each other. Marriage is just a piece of paper

being in a relationship it can easily end like that.being married it can easily be work out.you cant just say i'm leaving bye.but yet again marriage can also end in the long run.it's a 50-50 chance.

You can work on an unmarried relationship just as easily as you can work on a married one. The commitment comes from you, not a legal document. Also, living together for 6 years makes you common-law married anyway. If you did break-up, you would have to go through a divorce like any other married couple.

Hi! It is not just men, I am very careful too. I don't believe I will ever get married again. Was married for 9 years. I rather like my situation, just a boy friend , no hassle. But, who knows what the future will bring.LOL! Anyway in your situation, he has everything he wants already. Three children a great women. Why would he think about marriage. And if you don't give him hints, how is he suppose to know. You don't want to pressure him into marriage. But, you have a will as well. He has what he wants, children and a loving women who only thinks for him and not for herself. Come on , make jokes in the way you actually mean it, but always keep smiling.Don't let him know you have been wanting this too long. When he sees through your jokes and asked you if you really think about getting married. Don't say yes right away, give him a question back ,like: I don't know what about you? This way the man gets to decide on the initiative. As we know, every man wants to have the best idea's.LOL So, we let them,LOL! Take care, and don't forget yourself in life. Margajoe

Hi! Don't worry, you will know when the time is right. And when you no longer expect it to happen, he will ask you. Take care, Margajoe.

cuz unlike women were not in any rush to get married and most men dont spend much time think about getting married. the majority of men think with logic and not there emotions so it make us more reluctent to feel the same things wht women feel. pluse we wana make sure tht we really wana be with tht person for the rest of our life. for women its easier for them to end a relationship and find someone else in no time unlike me we really dont have tht much to offer to women.

If both of you are very sure about yourselves then what you did was just right, you need to know what's holding him from tying the knot with you or else you just can't wait forever! I believe that you two have already a strong commitment for each other that is why you last that long in the relationship however, you must have to make SURE of the depth of such commitment. There are just many circumstances in a married life that alters events that are quite tough to deal with..if both of you are ready for all of these, then go, get married and be happy! Good luck and Happy posting!
