Before more than month ago my wife have to travel back to our country (Iraq) to see her family for urgent reason, me and my kids where here in Egypt, after these my lonely days and it was hard days to me, taking care of the kids, cook to them wash the cloths, wash the dishes, cleaning the house was my daughter duty, after all these days she call me today and say that she will come back on Sunday, I can't hold my self to the moment I will saw her again I miss her a lot.
For me tomorrow I will help my daughter cleaning the house good cleaning, and tidy all the things that kids have make it a mess, I will grill a chicken and cook some rice with it as she love that, and make some ice-cream for the sweetening, and I think we will have a good and great night after this time.
So what the deal now? any other ideas to do?
I hope to know from you all, thanks in advance.

I am soooo happy for the both of you! I know personally what you are going through because my wife has been gone almost 3 months. We don't have children (thank goodness...I have enough of my own), but I have always felt the heartache that you have since your wife was in another country. I am so pleased that she is safe and will be returning in three days. Leah's and my thoughts are with the two of you continuously.

I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!!!!!!!! Happy, happy, HAPPY!!!!! I know how excited you are. I anyone knows how excited you are, it's my husband and myself. He'll be here in Canada in less than two weeks. It was nice to have you here to talk to, since you and your wife, and Walker and I were all going through the same thing.
Does your wife like flowers? Maybe get her a nice bouquet of flowers. Does she like chocolate? Coffee? Turkish Delight? (all my favourites...)
I bought my husband a special present to give to him when he ges to Canada. I can't say what it is, because I don't want him to know until he gets here. He said he has someting for me too. He told me he'd bring some of my faourite chocolaes from the states, tha I can't get in Canada.
Please tell your wonderful wife about Walker and I (my name is Leah), and that we have gone through the same things that you and she went through.
I know what you mean about a "good night." :) I am dreaming about the GOOD NIGHT that Walker and I are going to have when he ges here. He is going to meet me here at the cafe, we are going to hae a coffee togethe, and then we are going to go home and.... well you know. :)
I am SOOOOOOOO EXCITED for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you so much for the best response. That means a lot to me. I know what you mean by happy tears. When I read your original post, I grabbed my laptop computer and started danging around my table, right here in the middle of the cafe.
What's really interesting is that you and your wife, and Walker and I, will be getting back together within a matter of days. I think it was destined by God that we ind eachother here on MyLot. I'm so pleased at the wonderful things in store for both of our marriages.

Congratulations, alkurishy! We know from your previous posts that you love your wife very much, and that you've been missing her terribly. She probably wants to see the children and spend time alone with you, and the rest is just icing on the cake.
Have a wonderful reunion!

That's wonderful for you and and your family. I'm sure you all must be very happy! Maybe some flowers would be nice, if that is something that a man in your country would do. My husband always buys them for me after a business trip or when I'm mad at him . Enjoy your time together and have lots of fun catching up!

You made through this without her. I am happy for you. I am sure she will be very happy things are in order and clean. Here's an idea: A nice bath with candles and a bottle of your favorite refreshment to share together is really soothing and romantic. besides I'll bet both of you will be a bit tired after all of this travel and work. Best wishes

What wonderful news for you and your children. I know that you have missed her very much. You must let her know how much you missed her. The flowers sound like a wonderful idea as does the chocolate cake. I can just see you jumping for joy and dancing around with your children. Just keep letting her know continually even next week and next month.

So good news after all…when is she coming back, this weekend? You have already prepared for the best reception you can give your wife…preparing dinner with a tired body is every woman’s nightmare
Is the ice-cream homemade? If so, can you share the recipe pls
Oh! Let me add how lucky you wife is to have a husband who can cook

Don't worry my dear, when I do these things to someone I love I will never feel as a tired and I am always in a good shape even if I am tired.
Yes the ice-cream is home made, I just buy it from the market as a powder and mixing it with a cold milk and put it in the blender for 4 minutes then put it in the deep freezer for about 4 hours and you can put on it some mild chocolate.
Thanks for your response and have a nice day.

The fact that you took allthe responsibilities of taking care of your children and managing the house when your wife was away is already something which really made her happy. A warm embrace and loving kiss will add excitement.

Nice to hear you are excited to see your wife. It is always nice to come home to flowers. If there are some in season you can have the kids pick them, put them in a container and tie a ribbon around it. The kids can make a card to express how much she has been missed. Give these simple things along with the great meal you're going to cook and she will melt in your arms. Give her lots of kind and sweet words and she's yours. Happy reunion!
