My August MyLot Resolutions

It's August 1st already here in the Philippines. I haven't started
a single discussion for more than a week now because I have been
busy with other things.
So, here are my August MyLot Resolutions:
1. Start at least one discussion a day (not including the days I am
not in myLot)
2. Respond back and comment back as much as I can
3. Rate discussions and response even outside my own discussions
4. Resolve discussions as soon as possible (within a day or two)
I have set a goal last July to have 400 friends but I didn't made it.
Goals:
1. Have 500 friends in my list.
2. (Of course,) reach payout before month end.
3. Reach 1000 user-rating within August.
So how about you? How's your July and what are your plans for August?
I am also planning to apply for a UnionBank EON Card so I can
encash my myLot earnings.

I have a job. Actually, I can only go to mylot when I am in the office
as I don't have a computer at home. But I do go to mylot only when I
have time. And it would really need time management skills to balance
my time mylotting and working.

Good luck to you! I hope you fulfill all your resolutions. As for me, just like you, I will aim to make it better this month than the previous months. I haven't meet my payout yet for several months because I am busy also. But this month, i wanted to.

The past months have been really busy for me too. And I had
trouble juggling with time as to which activities to do first.
But I hope I can manage more this time with my work and myLot.
I will also be focusing more on myLot than other money-
making sites in the first half of the month to be assured of
the payout.

That is quite a goal for the month of August... i hope you will be able to achieve all of them...
My goals are quite simple...
1. Do a little clean up on friends list and interests...
2. Reach payout...
3. Reach 4000th posts...
4. Start 1 to 3 discussions a day...

I guess reaching the 4000th post would depend greatly on your
time available. I don't think I can make 800 posts a month. I
have only been here for two and a half months now and have only
made 700+ posts. That would be less than 300 posts a month in
the average. Good luck to you on that!
I don't think I will be doing a clean up on my friends list and
interests. I am actually in the process of increasing it.

I haven't made any myLot plans (I'd only just realised it was August!) but when I log in, I always answer one discussion by a new user - and one discussion which has had no replies! That's my rule every day. Apart from that, I try to reply to all my friends' discussions (unless I know nothing about it or it's about making money online).

That would be a good rule to follow. I would think about it if
I can add it to my list of resolutions. But the resolutions I
have listed are my priorities now. I would be responding to
new users and discussions with no responses once in a while
when I have free time. And maybe I can add it in my priorities
next month.

lol this is funny my post here has been deleted.. anywayz, it's early to make a new year's resolution huh lol.. for me i dont have any plans or resolution this month, i just go with the flow, coz sometimes when im planning to do this & do that, it wont pursue.. so i just let it happen hehehe..

I have been doing that for the past months but I find it a little
disorganized. I mean, I have discussions which are a month old
and not yet resolved because I focus more on discussing and
responding. I guess this goals gives me a better focus.

Good for you man. Congradulations on making Julys payout. So far the only goal that I have made for this month is to make payout. But, like you and many others on here I am busy and cant always be on here. Plus, I might try and get at least five referals on here. Well, good luck to you hope that you may meet your goals for this month.

I am going to do better in August. I like this site a lot and enjoy typing so I will be here a lot more. So I am happy just to be here and really love the way the new mylot looks. A great big improvement and it has me coming back everyday. For long periods during the day.

It's good that myLot's new look has kept you coming back. I think
the new look is really great too. MyLot looks more friendly and
alive now unlike before.
And I think it contributed to my goals as I feel I can type more
now.

I guess these goals are doable. I don't want to set the bar too high
because it will only get me frustrated.
I have 260 posts to make to reach the 1000 user-rating. And I have
some 20 days (because I don't go here during weekends), that's
13 posts per day. I think I can do it.
I hope you can reach your goals too!

Wow! That's a good one hope you don't mind me adopting it
. I just did apply for an EON card in a near by UnionBank. I ask them why are there no online applications, they said a lot are applying for it but never claimed it so they have disabled it. Processing normally took 2 weeks but I was able to get mine on the third. Good luck to you my friend.

I haven't verified mine either, I'm still accumulating a considerable amount but I just visit their site and the EON card got what it take to verify it. I believe their is just a certain amount or so but its refundable. EON card works like an ATM you can withdraw/deposit anytime.

Yes, you may adopt it.
I have a question on the EON card, ferdzNK. I hope you can answer it.
1. Can we withdraw money to the EON account even without verifying
our paypal account?
2. Can we use the EON card for verifying our paypal account? If so,
how do we do it?
That's all for now. Congrats on your EON card, I hope I can have
mine soon. I have not yet applied for it but planning to next week.
In that case, I would be receiving the card maybe September.

YOur august resolution looks easy and simple except for some..
Y will u want to have so many frenz?? What if most of them are inactive?? I can say that i will reach my july resolution by reaching payout, but for august, it will be a bit hard as i wun be as active in mylot because i need to go for refresher training.. haha..
SO, my august resolution, to be able to reach at least 3/4 of the minimum or half of the payout.. hehe

It would be fair enough to reach 3/4 of your minimum as you would
be busy with your training.
I want to have a lot of friends because I believe they are
helpful in my earnings. I believe if I help them, they would help
me. In case a lot of them are inactive, I will respond to their
discussions so they may decide to be active here.
And I know most of my friends are active because I only send
friend requests to those who respond to my discussions.

LOL =D How about those whom request to be your frenz?? Do u reject them?? hehe =D Though those active ones may be active now, but there will be a time whereby they will not be active anymore..
As far as i know, alot of old timers in mylot, are no longer as active there, instead, alot of newbies are joining mylot everyday.. lol
Yeah, it will be good enough for me to reach half for august and i will be very happy too ^_^

I didn't reach payout, although I did my best. I have $9.26 in my account yet, but I don't think I will get those missing cents with my posts from yesterday. It was so hot here the last days I just couldn't stay on the computer too long. Well, at least August will be a good month.
My plans for August are:
1. Reaching payout (that shouldn't be to hard to do)
2. Get to 750 posts
3. Find a new interest every week

That's another way of thinking about it. I hope I can double it. but if I post more discussions, I know I will.
I add interests once in a while. When I find I don't get notification of interesting discussions I look around to see if there are other interests I can add. And sometimes like yesterday, because I want to post a discussion in a certain interest I haven't added to my list yet.

That was close, you only need a few more cents. It would be a
good August. You will reach your payout and earn more. Think of it
as if mylot has kept your $10 but will be doubling it next month!
250 posts is a lot in month but I think you can handle it. I have
set my goal to 300 posts for August.
I don't think I will find a new interest. I am not really looking
for interest, or thinking about what interests to add. I just
interest when I am prompted to add it after responding to a
discussion. I rarely add interest for the sole reason of adding it.
But I have done it maybe two times already.

I also believe you can double your earnings by starting
discussions. That is why it is my plan to start at least
one discussion a day.
We don't really know how much a discussion would earn.
And I have experimented on ways to make it earn more. And '
I guess I am doing good at it.

I don't have as many resolutions for August as you do. I may be too busy with other things so I can't commit too much.
I reached my goal of 2500 in July and I expect to see my post count reach 3000 during August. I also expect to make payout during the month, as I have done every month so far.

Last month I have been also busy with other sites but I
think I will focus first with myLot for the first half of the
month so that I can be assured that I will reach payout.
I think you will easily reach the 3000 post this month.

Hi! I just wish you can carry on your resolutions! It would be great if you can so go and do your best! As for me I have not done any plans because more often than not, I cannot fulfill whatever resolution I make. So perhaps by now, I will just live one day at a time. Do my best in my every day endeavor and surely God will take care of the rest. God bless!

I only set goals which are possible. I don't really make ideal
goals, I keep them to the realistic, as I don't want feeling
frustrated when I don't reach them.
So I guess I will be reaching these goals this August. That is
nothing comes up that may keep me from posting here on mylot.

hello friend,I think you are doing it well till now.I have just joined mylot one month.And i have reached about 18 dollareven though it is not a big money.but i am happy with it.After all it is my first earning on mylot in any way.I am excited with my earning.And the important point is i have made a lot of wonderful friends here.They are all wonderful and friendly ones.
In this Aug, i will set up a high goal for myself.I will reach my posting points to 1000 ones at least,and i will shar more wonderful helpful information with all friends here.I think it must be super.lol

Wow, you have set high goals here. But I think with the way you
are myLotting, you can easily reach 1000 this month.
The proof to that is reaching $18 in payout. I have only made
$16 in my first month and $13 last July. So you should be
really active here in mylot to reach that payout.

its 1st august here also. i think you have really made the goals very well set. I have to see what can be achieved.also i will try to reach a certain number of post and payout as well. i am in doubt though whether i can really reach payout. kets see.

I think you are an active member here in myLot. If you have set
your minimum to $10, I guess you can reach it. But if you have
set it to a higher amount, I guess it would be tough.
I hope setting your minimum to a higher rate would motivate
you more.
That is not the case with me. So I just set it to 10$.

I have not made many myLot resolutions but except to make more in August than I made in July. I also want to write more than four lines. I have a hard time getting past that, and to start at least one post a day. I do have lots of friends, so do not have to worry about that. One thing I am good at is getting others to take me the wrong way, so one of my resolutions is to think carefully before I write and not to let my emotions get the best of me.

I get quite a number of best responses. It is just that two of the members seem to do a lot of writing, mostly rants, and even though I try to be nice, sometimes it does not work. I guess some people do not like you not agreeing with them.

I don't usually have any specific goals. I guess reaching payout will be nice, and I try to achieve that each month. But other than that I follow the " No stress " rule.
I am here because I enjoy being here and I enjoy interacting with people. Anything beyond that is a bonus:)
Of course while in here there are things that I do but naturally not as a goal. I make sure that I comment on responses given to my discussions or my comments. Because that's what makes each discussion as a friendly conversation. I make friends. I do make an effort to resolve my discussions. But mostly I have fun. I have a pleasant time that sometimes make my day better. SO I guess my goal is: having a great time here.

LOL it all depends on the perspective I prefer not to focus on the money aspect and more in the enjoyment here because once people focus on the money there is more stress - will I reach payout? Can I make one more dollar? What if discussions are deleted? etc - whereas when we focus on having a great time time here, the money appears even without us noticing :):)

that is a bonus? Like an exact opposite of your
rule. Well, I am liking the bonuses that I get here. I get help,
friends, information, and fun.

Hi richiem,
I have maintained my goal for 4 months already being active here! To respond at least 40 and clear all my notifications each day..It is very possible for me since I have no job this time and for 8 hours alone in the house, this is just my recreation but have to take a lot of break to avoid all the cramps and pain too..LOL!
ANyway, I am not active in posting, it will be a miracle if I can find a topic once a week or so! LOL! I guess my limited activities is the main reason so basically, my topic will just revolve about my life, my experiences this time and my friends lives! LOL!
Anyway, I want to maintain my goal as to respond 40 or make it 50 per day!

That should be a great goal to respond 40 a day. I am thinking I
can only respond about 10 a day on the average. But I am hoping
I can go beyond that as long as my time would permit.
Good for you to have a lot of spare time. I have a day job and
I can only access myLot during break hours. We don't even have a
computer at home so I am really relying on my office computer.
I think you should be earning a lot responding 40 a day. But I
think starting discussions can earn you more.

Starting a discussion a day would also be hard for me. Actually,
I hadn't started a discussion yesterday because I am busy with
work. And on August 6-8, I will not be able to visit myLot
because we will have a seminar in Manila.
So that would be very unproductive for me here in myLot. I hope
I can still manage to reach my goals even with the seminar on
the way.

I just wanted to say hello and to wish you luck on your goals for this month on mylot. As for myself, I am not sure exactly of what all goals I wish to set. I know that I would like to make a higher payout this time and hopefully make more quality responses to people. I want to sort of experiment to see what works best with the factors of quality, quantity and ratings. I am doing well, somecowgirl, thank you, except for a little cold
I caught last night because I don't have a blanket and it was
freezing.
Yes, I think everybody us here must experiment to see what works
and what really pays well.
I would say that starting a discussion that would attract a lot
of responses would really bring you a lot of earnings.
Responding and commenting can be a tool to help you gather
more responses.
