What type of discussion annoys you?

I've only been on mylot for 2 months, yet my participation in mylot is gradually decreasing. Part of the reason is because I'm getting fed up with repeated discussions asking the same thing again and again by different mylotters.
For me whenever I start a discussion, I will look through if there are any other discussions that are similar to what I'm going to talk about in my new discussion.
Feel free to share both positive and negative.
Cheers'

hi snoopy,
I have been on mylot for like 3 days.. If I have a thought that I want to discuss I post it.
If it is on my mind I mean, I don't want to search to see if it had been discussed before, why would I do that... is it Tabu to start the same discussion again, if I am not interested, the I do not respond.. Make sense?
I am not sure alot of people do the same at checking to see if it was discussed or not.. I don't LOL maybe I am just lazy! LOL

Actually, it is not a 'Rule" they say in the FAQ that it is discouraged, I am sorry if anyone felt offened by my comment, I did not mean to offend.
Although some discussions may have been posted before, I believe it would not be entirely the same content.... I could be incorrect.
I have a thought and I post it, maybe I am a mylot Newbie, I can see where this could cause an issue, "re-posting, however , I am posting my thought on it, may not be the same thing to speak.

I used to look and see if there were other discussions and not find any. Then I'd post and similar discussions would come up under my discussion. They were posted in other interest groups, so I didn't see them. (I have a LOT of interests)
What really annoys me are the inane ones like what color is your cell phone? LOL if I knew how to search all of mylot I wonder how many of those I'd find.
Have you tried widening your interests? Sometimes if you include an interest you're only vaguely interested in, you find that you're surprised at how interesting some of the discussions can be.

Lolz, yeah some of the discussion are so meaningless which gets me thinking what is the chance that mylot will delete the discussion.
I've seen a discussion before where this mylot person started a number of discussion with different titles, only to find that he is just promoting his links/business. Wee, this is the extreme case that I've found so far.
I even find the same interest in two separate groups, amazing!
