OK right now my baby (2 yr old) is sick with a cold, the Sitter came over.. I didn't even know he had a cold until he asked if I had Thera-Flu or something for his cold... WTF??? I would rather have a sitter or family member call me and say they were sick and not coming because of this.
Does anyone feel the same? Now my poor child is sick, the sitter is home probably passed out on Thera-Flu and this por baby and I will be up all night.
So I am asking if your sitter or family member showed up at your door being ill... would you send them away?

Your child needs to develop and immunity to these illness. Think about it this way, your babysitter just strenghten your babies immune system. Sure it's annoying now but if he doesn't develop a heathy immune system now, he's going to be sick all the time was he's in school.

I do understand what you are saying... but it hurts to see your child so sick, due to someone else being ill, gosh this is so difficult, because I say the same thing, about the immune system.
I am not annoyed, I just feel his lil pain ya know? Well yes I am annoyed, I could have been at least give the option, the sitter could have told me he was getting a cols, flu etc., but him just showing up with it gave no options to anyone... ya know?

Yeah, she should have told you. Is it possible she didn't feel that sick until later? Sometimes that stuff can just hit you.
People don't normally want their kids to get sick but it's life. Try not to be too hard on the babysitter. Try to give your son orange juice and other stuff with vitamin C in it. It works wonders.
Take care.
