I'm from the Philippines, specifically from an island in the Visayas area, The Negros oreintal Island. We are living the "island life" as what most locals call it. We are a very laid-back bunch, we go around town wearing board/beach shorts and slippers. W usually walk or ride motorcycles round our island and everybody knows almost everybody else. And there are lots of foreigners who settle in our place. They say they like the laidback way of life here, and the seafood, too. We dont really mind having them around.
How bout you? what country are you from and what's it like living in your place?

I'm from the United States, and the place I live is very rural, I live out in the country, we have green grass and alot of hills, the area isn't flat, alot of trees, and there are alot of cowboys where I live. Everybody is laid back too, life moves along real slow, unless you live in the big city, I live in a small town where everybody knows everybody.

I am from the state of New Jersey in the USA. New Jersey is referred to as the garden state, because of all the foilage and vegetables grown here. It is a very expensive state to live in. We have tolls on most highways. The people are relatively okay as far as friendliness. This is the state Bruce Springsteen, Frank Sinatra, Jon Bon Jovi, Jerry Lewis, Shaquille O'neil were born in, just to name a few.

I live in the USA. The state that I live in here is good old michigan. This is of course the best state ever here in the USA. It is cold as heck in the winter and cold and warm in the summer. Michigan weather is crazy.

Quezon Province? I dont think so. It's southern luzon, i think. I've been to manila a couple of times. And just recently (this summer), I passed by Manila on my way to pampanga. My dad's capampangan. Hehehehe. Went there to visit my grams and other relatives.

I am from Singapore, where the teenagers are rude and act like they own the world. Correction. They act like the world revolves around them. Wonderful sauna experience all year round and people from the press expects you to wear suits and dresses when comfy t-shirts, bermudas and flip-flops would do just fine. The press even dedicated a full front page of Singaporeans wearing t-shirts and bermudas when they could have reported about something else that is more news-worthy. Foreigners like Singapore as it is a multi-cultural country to live in. And personally I don't care which country foreigners come from as I believe they can make Singapore a much more wonderful and colorful society than it already seems to be. So, come over to Singapore, y'all!!

I am originally from Scotland. I was ten when we left. You can take the lass out of Scotland but you cant take Scotland out of the Lass. I love my home country and sadly dont get to visit very often. I now live in Michigan int the USA. It is very hot here. We get all four seasons but our Winter is way too long. Every one here is always in a hurry. People here are just not friendly enough on the whole. Every one is so friendly in Scotland or if you go down to the Southern "States here, people are very friendly.

I am from the United States. I have been here for forty years. I would like to travel to other countries though if I can get the chance.
The Philippines seems like a nice area. The "island" life seems nice and cozy to me. It must be nice to be laid back and know so many people and feel comfortable in your setting. I believe that I live in one of the best countries in the world. I feel that America does a lot for people in other countries.

I live in Canada, in the Province of Alberta. Very nice and pleasant, except that it gets really freezing cold in the winter time. We say here that summer is three months and winter is nine months. The island where you are sounds like a nice place to live.
