Today is August 1 and it is solar eclipse

I didn't know there was a solar eclipse today. Has it passed yet? I have not seen any solar eclipse or even signs of it today and it is already 4:06pm already here. By the way, I live in South East Asia. May be it doesn't affect my place or the effect is negligible here.

Well I have just know that news from today's news paper.I don't think any types of scarring events may possible during this day.But in my location the weather is fully effected by rain so I have to miss this rear incident. according to some astrologist there are some evil effect which can alters the regular phenomena from its original state.And that can only happened during this solar eclipse.

i didn't knew that it was a solar eclipse today! where will it be observed. at what part of the world would it be a complete black out. i remember one at least seven years ago when it was a eclipse and it turned very dark but it remained fora very short moment. It was quite an experience
