No work to do today.

no,my town not do very effect for the eclipse of the sun.at afternoon ,when i left my work form my home .at the street,i fond a lot of people looked at the west.i didn't know what had happened.so i just looked at west too.i found a red moon in the west.at first i take for a moon that beautiful so many people looked at it ,but after a moment i think it maybe sun .i found a lot of person photoed it,and i didn't know it was the eclipse of the sun .i just know it maybe blocked by cloud,and i was very hungry at that time.so i drive my bike return to home .when i at home ,listened to my family memeber,then i know that it was elipse of the sun .then i want to see it again,but there was lot of buildign and didn't see it again.and i don't want to go to somewhere to see it again.

I am also from India. Though now a days we dont care much about eclipse, but yes my parents take care of it. They avoid going out and avoid seeing towards sun as it can harm eyes and skin. Also they dont cook anything as they believe that anything kept cooked can get spoiled. Also they donate to beggers after the eclipse is over.

Yes, I read about the total eclipse in the newspaper. I didn't get to see it. Here people go to work as usual, carrying on as usual.

I don't think that this effect on working day... because Im looking in delhi everywhere is normal working day.. This eclipse might be seen between 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM in India.. For the safty of eye please don't see this eclipse directly. If you want to see this eclipse then you can see the live telecast on internet although. The broadcaster will be www.nasa.gov

I didn't see total eclipse of the sun,just saw eclipse of the moon. So i am curious about this. Does the day like the night? All of you cann't do anything as usual. Maybe you can stay at home suffering on line or watch TV,or you can have a good sleep. Hope you have a good day today!

hey, u missed out something important. not only do we stay idle today, but we also fast... we eat such that whatever we have eaten is digested before the eclipse begins.... so i am already starving.... really hungry. but its for good. it is said that the rays are bad and at that time u must have empty stomach to avoid evil effects on ur health.
