Hi metal, Welcome back..LOL! ANyway, I have not tried that since I have always time alone during weekdays when my husband works so, after doing my household chores here, I will right away log in MYlot and clear all my notifications by responding and giving comments.. IN your case, maybe it is time really to take a break...But, when you are focus on the goal each month, you will be motivated to be active! Like think of a project that you can do for yourself, family, friend and with that, aim to earn to achieve such project!

Oh hey metal..kinda misunderstood your 'hibernation' comment in your other discussion a bit. So Ive pretty much told you what happened to me in your other discussion but Ill just give it a little more detail here. You sign up to myLot, you get addicted. Meaning you cant leave it, not for anything. If you really have to leave it, before you're even logged out you already miss it. When you're logged out all you think about(most of it anyway) is when you're going to be able to log in again. During this stage you post like crazy and cant wait to get to all the privileges. Then after that or sometime along that, you get bored. There seems to be no interesting discussion to respond to. so you mostly read, when you see something that you might like to respond to you do but those are few and very far between. But with all the boredness and you're want to leave myLot and do other things, for some reason you just cant. Then you give up and leave altogether(not really, more like a few days to a month or some months) but you just cant not log in and participate in the discussions forever. So you come back and be active again. But this time with more control. Meaning you can leave and come back anytime you want with no regrets and withdrawal syndrome of some sort. When you've gotten to that point you're kinda free and you can do whatever you want however you want whenever you want. Thats the cycle Im talking about. Sound familiar?^_^ Anyways since you're in the middle of the cycle I suggest you take a break(a long break if you must) and just busy yourself with other things besides myLot then you'll see the difference. Just dont forget to come back. You have friends waiting here you know.^_^

Hi metal_monkee! It is so good to see you around my dear young friend! I have not been that much active too here lately. I do have that "hibernation mode" once in awhile too, sometimes it last for three months and sometimes, just a week. I just don't force myself logging in mylot if I don't feel like it so that i wouldn't dislike it totally. I would rather miss it so that I will be so enthusiastic when I get back. haha..Just take the time away from mylot..we need a break some time..soon you will be missing it and you will be back with much vengeance! haha.. Take care always..God Bless!

Hi metal_momkee! Welcome back, you've been missed. It seems as if alot of the members here went into hibernation, but it's good to have you back. I've logged in everyday, but my problem has been a lack of time, but i try to get in one or two post in my attempt to keep active.

Hello metal_monkee and welcome back! LOL I have not been using mylot for long but I find that it can be quite addictive. I went away for a couple of days and didn't have access to the internet and couldn't get reception on my mobile phone it was quite nice actually. I think it is good to have a bit of a break from mylot now and again so that you can get some fresh ideas for discussions and have a fesh outlook on other people's discussions!
