Get active, get happy?

There seems to me to be two kinds of people in this world. Those 'go-getters'...self-motivated, self-confident and self-sustainable, then there are the rest of us. Is it a question of structure? I know personally I need structure imposed on my life or else I stay static, and those self-sustainable sorts structure their own days in a positive way. Can one become this kind of person, and if so, how can we begin? Join a gym? Get a bike? Get a very loud alarm clock that does not have a sleep function and plays for 2 hours, forcing us to leave the house?

Yes, I agree with you that if one is active and busy in his life, he is bound to be happy, because if one's remain busy he does not get time to think about adversities and worries in his life. I also try to remain busy and forget about my worries.

The motivation and determination has to come from within. It has to be constant and let gone off especially in those trying momnets. You could do anything to start off. Joining a Gym may be good idea. Set you timetable, your goals ,make sure you reach there and increase them for the next time. What is important to set a higher goal and keep at it. The tougher the task the better.

I do agree with you chariskaps. There are people that are doers in this world and those who watch the world go by. I like to keep on my feet most of the time especially that I have a four year old.
It is good to have structure also. I believe we need to start a regimen for ourselves and keep at it. If we can sustain motivation we can do anything. Have a wonderful day!
