Although I am what might be termed a "cat Person", I do not kiss my cat. The nearest thing to that would be a quick "Eskimo kiss" where one participant rubs noses with the other. This has to be quick; otherwise, I get my nose bitten. These are always soft bites, which I believe are his manner of showing affection, but I do not care for them.

I kiss my cat all the time, usually the top of her head or maybe her fluffy belly and paws. I always seem to get a mouth full of fluff though, but she's so cute and smells so sweet of clean fluffiness that i can't help it. I love her so much becuase she is so precious to me.

I do kiss my cat. I like to give her little pecks on the top of her head. I don't do it a whole lot, just a couple of times when she walks across my lap or something.
Even though my cat is VERY effectionate she is not much of a kisser...she likes to gives rubs and lay on/with you, but no kisses! :D And that's okay with me.

I had a old cat that I had for 21 years that recently passed away. I didn't realize how slow she had gotten until I adopted 2 kittens shortly after her passing. I find the difference in personalities amazing. Yes, I kiss my kitties too often to count. One kisses me back everytime he gets near me. The other one backs off like a teen sayin "don't kiss me in front of my friends Mommy." So the theory of training a cat to kiss may or may not be correct. I kiss them both every time I pick them up. One returns them & the other doesn't. I think a kissin kitty just has a lotta love in his personality. The one that kisses is a very loving kitty that loves sittin in my lap a lot. The other is a very standoffish kitty who doesn't like being still & prefers not to be picked up.
