August the 1st What are you views about this???

August is my favorite month in the year. My birthday is on the nine, so this time is a time of new begininings for me. I am thinking about going back to college this month, if I do not move, then I will sign up for one or two classes at the community college across the street. I am thinking about taking a Psychology class again.

well,what is it about august 1st??? oh yea,school starts two months earliar here so the shopping tension is quite over though i need to get this aand that for my kids(i think that is part of having kids.lol.)

In my home country it is the school holidays. Term doesn't begin until early September. The weather has been cool and rather rainy so I do hope for some hot and dry days. I would like to take my children out for some days, go camping and take my dog Secret to the groomers. I still haven't developed my holiday photos so I want to do that this month. I will begin getting my older son's school clothes ready. His school uniform changes slightly because he is going into the upper part of the school. On August 31st it will be my dog Secrets birthday and he will be 4 years old. Have a lovely day and enjoy the rest of this month.

Yeah, fall is here already. It doesn't really seem like it should be this late in the yr. I'm not ready for my kid 2 go back 2 school. I've got all his school supplies that were on his list tho. i wish they were out a little longer. They really seem 2 push the kids hard now a days in school. i wish they got a lil more time off really.

1st Augost is my birthday but not wery big celebration party cause i do not have many friends and i do not like to celebrate something very loud. it is beter with your closest friends and family and im satisfied with that.

I start back to teaching on August 18. However, our principal wants us to report back for meetings and inservice on August 4 so I will soon be back to work.

This discussion is from about a year ago, in 2008. It's now Aug 9, 2009. I'm hearing a lot of back-to-school stuff too. It's great, because then there won't be so many little kids to trip over, on the sidewalks, and less bikes during the daytime riden by kids who aren't watching where they are going. I also realize that I wouldn't go back to that age for anything. I'm so glad to be out of school!

August the First is a holiday up here, but according to the calender it is going to be days off on Monday. Yet there is a sale at one of our stores, so I am now confused. We already have the school supplies in the stores now. But I was thinking I had better buy something for my daughter=in-law's birthday coming up this month. The weather will be getting cooler and I need some new clothes, but how can I afford it now. I will have to pick some more strawberries, my husband is still going to phsyiotherapy and is he getting better.

Aside from it is the start of a new month, it is also another opportunity to make things better. Aim for the best. For you and for people around you. Even the activities are jsut the continuations of what you are used of doing.

I know, can you believe it? Where has the year gone? My kids are off school for another four weeks yet, I have made a start on the back to school bit though, bought them a new school bag each the other day. Just got another ten million things to get yet though! August will just be another chilled out month for us, until the kids go back to school there will not be much to do but have fun!

I realize that it being August 1st, that we have a little more of summer to go. It has been quite hot down here in my region of Alabama. It has also been very humid. Well I have a four year old son and I can't say he is going to school quite yet, but there are little ones in my community that are supposed to be returning to school in about a week or two. I am not really looking forward to the bad heat that I heard will strike us even more this month. So I am just going to stay cool and spend time with my son and here on My Lot. Have a good day!

This last August or every August, I feel that one month to go and the Ber months already there. This last August I start my diet and tell to my self that before the end of the month I have to achieve my ideal weight. Every August I also start to save coins for Christmas because I really feel excited every August, I don't know why but I feel that December will be there tomorrow every month of August.
