I like to write with a ball pen as it is very light and its a lot more comfortable to write with it. Some people say that if you start writing with a ball pen at an early age, it has a negative effect on your writing. Is it correct? What do you like to use- Ball pen/ fountain pen / gel pen???

I prefer ball pen because its easy to use, fast and low cost than gel pens or foundain pens.
Ball pen is also available in plenty than the other type pen.

Hi karjyo, among the three I prefer to use ball pen most of the time. In the first place it’s light, handy and convenient to carry along. For me I always lose my pen or leave it elsewhere so I have to replace it every now and then, as it’s more economical as compare with a fountain pen. I can always replace it without much pain. Ball pen is very smooth in writing and I don’t have to refill the ink often. I don’t like to use fountain pen as it is a bit heavy and worse still if it leaks and cause nasty stains. I dislike the gelpen as its ink can spread and penetrate the paper. Happy posting

I used to write with fountain pen when i was in secondary.. form 5th to 7th std...
Then is stopped using fountain pen...
I mostly write with ball pen.. Its so smooth that i love writing with it.. I prefer cello gripper ball pen with 0.5 mm point...
I don't think using a ball pen has any negative effect on our writing.,..
I feel it makes our handwriting look even better...

yeah, i was told so that write in a ballpen at early age makes our handwriting ugly . I perfer traditional pen to any peons, for one reason, it seems rather formal, for the other, it makes my handwriting more beautiful though it is not ;(
While, i do take auto-pencil with me everyday and an eraser.

i like ball pen but people say that because using a ball pen many generally cultivate the habit of writing fast and neglecting the clarity and neatness.
this is common in adults but students especially children must learn and become used to writing neatly......having said this i am a student and my hand writing looks rubbish.
