I often make first impressions to people that I meet. And I realised that I often make mistakes abot my first impression, but sometimes my feeling is true. I consider my first impression as my reaction facing for new I meet.

As someone who used to do the interviewing and made hiring decisions for my former employer I can tell you that first impressions are very important in all aspects of a person's life. Everyone forms an opinion about someone new within the first couple of seconds of meeting them so it's always a good idea to put a smile on your face and be as approachable as possible when you first meet anyone. That's what I notice first...the personality as it is displayed in a social setting. Is that person shy and withdrawn, serious and aloof, or open and friendly?

First impressions do make a lasting impression, but can and often to do change once you get to know the person better. I do sometimes unconciously judge people when I come face to face with them, but try and correct myself.
I always notice the eyes of the person. It becomes difficult to form an impression when they wear shades though.

I think first impressions are very important when it comes to meeting new people. It tells you a lot about the person right from the start. I would say that when it comes to me judging someone it takes about 15 minutes for me to decide whether or not I like their personality. That may seem kind of shallow but I've met people where I've despised them in two minutes due to their bad attitudes.
When I first meet someone there are two things I notice: appearance and body language. I don't judge their appearance in the aspect that they aren't wearing stylish clothes...I want to know they can match their own clothing. And body language will tell whether or not they really care to meet you etc.
