Why ENGLAND DID NOT PLAY EURO 2008...???

no dsharat at least twice before they have failed to qualify 1976 & 1984.this year they failed like so many other teams in that they were not good enough.the press and some fans tried to blame the manager.my own view is that for whatever reason the players do not gel as a team.on paper they look good enough to beat anyone on the pitch however good as individuals they are they are very average as a a team.to many players appear to be relying on reputation and now that may change with the new manager saying he will pick players to fit a team not a team to fit the players

nobody say about the main thing ... they didnt win becouse croatia win them at wembley the game was a great to watch and when england have a draw from that match they wasnt glad with it so they gamble all to win that match and go to euro as a first in group and they pay that, they lost 3-2, and from other side russia won 1-0 andorra and gone to euro as second in group

They didn't qualify because they were not good enough, they failed to win the games they had to win, and therefore did not get the points to qualify. And like has been posted this isn't the first time they are left out.

England did not qualify for the Euro 2008. They did not do well enough in the qualifying events to earn a spot in the tournament. I believe they did not make Euro a couple of times, maybe 76 and 84? I am not too sure. But they just have not played well lately, and they will have a tough time in my opinion, in qualifying for the 2010 world Cup. They have a lot of talent in Beckham, rooney, and others, but just can't find the right chemistry between everybody.

they did not get into the euro 008 because the manger was lousy and they lose to turkey.as they did not get in the euro 2008.i think they are pretty upset and disappointed.each player in england are very good but when it comes to big matches,they will struggle and they will be weak and poor because they cannot control their feelings and this is what will happen to them as they play very big matches
