I had my 10 year HS reunion last month, it was fun considering only 45-50 came and our class size was 370 also some couldnt make it because some live in Cali.
It was fun though, just seeing everyone change or some peoples haven't changed a bit..some I didnt even recognize...I would be asking others...'um whos that?' lol.
I know ive changed since then cuz back in HS i didn't talk at all, so when my friends from HS saw me talkin to several persons they got , but i look the same..seriously :)

For mine, I simply did a no-show. Not that I am a shy person or whatsoever, I simply chose not to go. Why? For one simple reason, I felt like an outcast in class during my school years. Just because my interests and hobbies were somewhat a little different, my classmates kept making me feel like some rejected outcast. It happened when I was in primary school till I finished secondary school. It was painful for me to go to school everyday with no one to talk to in class. When I was younger I tend to keep to myself since I had no one to talk to. And the teachers tend to praise me for being attentive and quiet, my classmates would sau\y that I was butt kissing when in fact, I wasn't. And the ironic part of this whole thing is that it happened in Singapore. Sounds sucky? Definitely. If I was an Asian in a foreign country, I would totally understand. But I am an Asian in my own Asian country, rejcted by my own Asian classmates just because of my interests and hobbies. Yes, that's ironic.

wow, that is messed up!
Well i was the really shy type...I didnt talk from Kindergarden to 10th grade in HS.
I was teased alot!...called so much names...but kids are kids...and teens are teens they dont give a rats azz.
I did go to my HS reunion cuz i wanted to....and also i was friends wit some of them bak in the day...they liked my shyness, and they sticked up for me (some!) others just apologized for being a kid/teen who didnt give a u know what.
And so after the HS we all went to the after party and had a good time:)

well, good for you. the last time i saw my classmates on the streets, they purposely crossed the street to the other side so that they can avoid my path. That is the main actual reason I avoided going ack for a class reunion. true that kids may only be kids, but if only they knew that their actions can hurt someone who didn't offend them, all would be well, I suppose. But at least working life was wonderful for me. I met and known people who are either older than me or younger and I actually managed to strike up conversation with them. Guess people who are the same exact age as me are my achilles heel then. The happiest moment was when I found some good friends who did share my interests of listening to Japanese rock and stuffs and that was really cool to me. At least I know I wasn't the only oddball who listened to X-Japan when everyone else was infatuated with S.H.E or Jay Chou.

Most of my classmates--even those whom I haven't seen in years--seem to know me for some reason. I guess I haven't changed that much in spite of being fatter and grayer.
One surprise I got was when this classmate shows up at our 25th class reunion, and he's bald except for a ring of hair ala Tim Conway. I'd imagined him coming with the thick and plentiful hair that he had when we were in high school.
However, I was even MORE surprised to find out that he was GAY!

I've been to a few reunions and won't say that I had a good time at any of them. None of the 4 other girls I hung out with bothered to go, so I was pretty much on my own. I missed the first one, when my ex and I forgot all about it. We went to one and I can't remember too much about it but I was pregnant with my 4th child and those few months kept me from tying with having the most children!! (the winner had 4!) I went to another by myself after paying for my second ex and I to go, but had an ok time. I sat with 2 other women who I didn't know in high school and we talked about all the other people. The best part was a good looking guy who came over to talk to ME!! I was surprised. I missed the last one I knew about since they never sent me the particulars about it........I graduated in "72, so there have been quite a few reunions!!
