How would you know if it is an affair or almost an affair?

How would you really know if it is an affair or almost an affair? I know there is a difference in the two but the question really is what? An affair for me is when the two party involve is starting to share more than feeling or affection. I mean behind the emotional thing. Affair is more on doing more on the phyisical thing you know what i mean; while almost an affair is the state when someone knows that she or he is actually feeling but refuses to give in to this feeling and continous to control that feeling . How about you ?

For me, an affair always relates to emotional and physical things. You will know it if you have feeling for someone more than just a friendship feeling, you start to care more for him/ her, you remember him/ her a lot when you are not together. That's the sign for you to drop it, let it go, stop contacting and seeing her/ him. Because if you know it and you keep contacting and seeing her/ him, than the affair begins.

yeah i believe so too that it is better to stop when it is still starting that being trap in a situation that you know you can escape on too. Yeah you are right about that.

IMO,It becomes an affair from the moment that you start planning something involving You and another Person that You're trying and hoping to make sure your current partner doesn't find out about...!

Yeah, that's a hard line. But, its very hard to never feel anything for anyone else but one person for your whole life. I think if you are able to control your urges and not follow through physically then you are not really cheating.
