Hi everyone, I have recently had an Outside BBQ with quite a few guests around 30, although it was an outdoors affair.. I found myself chasing people out of my home to go smoke outdoors, I say people who want to smoke do so, but if I do not want it in my home at least respect that... Anyway, I still have the awful lingering odor of cigarettes in my home. I have washed all bedding and draperies.. but I can still smell the cigarettes, does anyone have any suggestions I can utilize to remove this odor? (I also purchased an air purifier) Not helping.
HELP!

There’s something about vinegar that gets rid of smoke smell.
The carpets need to be shampooed if you want to remove smoke smell
Baking soda is a good way to get rid of smoke odor.
Shades, curtains, and fixtures need to be cleaned to get rid of smoke odor.
Fresh air is probably the best way to remove smoke smell and odor from a home.
I do the last one to get rid of the smoke...it does work

Hi sharay.. ty for the response. I have also heard something about white vinegar for smoke odor.. but what do you do with it? LOL
I actually have ALL my windows open to air this place out, the only thing I have yet to do is clean the carpets.. I betcha the smoke is stuck in there!
