Why are Christians not outraged?!!!

John McCain's new ad makes fun of Obama by comparing him to God! Does McCain seriously believe that as presidential candidates, they have become so close to God that he can blaspheme and get away with it? Where are these negative ads heading? It is okay if McCain wants to clown his way into the White House. He must be told, however, that God does not appreciate His name being taken in vain. Many things have happened in this country over the last eight years and people are yearning for change. Obama's large following is not because he is even minutely close to God(and neither is McCain). It's because people want the change he represents very passionately. You can compare your opponent to anything to show disrespect for him, but certainly, not God. The ad also makes fun of Christians by comparing them to Obama's supporters. It certainly is becoming a crazy race at this point. Who would have thought that anybody would want to be in the White House as desperately as McCain does.

It's clearly ridiculous to compare the two. After all, there's pretty solid evidence Obama exists.

I'm not a Christian, haven't heard this latest bit of foolishness from McCain but quite honestly could care less. John McCain lost any respect I could have had for him ages ago. He has nothing better to do than act like a spoiled child and throw mud at Obama for everything he does. Obama is conducting himself like a president and he is getting himself out there in a way that McCain never did this entire election. I honestly can't see where McCain is even trying anymore. I'm not even sure why he is still running cause he isn't even acting like he has a chance of winning, almost like he has already admitted defeat.

Good day.. It's just show how low one can get to get into that office. I mean competition is competition, campaigning is campaigning but we don't have to put any one's God, specially a christian God's name into that. The race should show the best of the candidates but it proves otherwise. what a shame.

Perhaps McCain was just comparing him to "a" god rather than God! It's funny that God even pays attention to political races or humans at all.

Any candidate that starts using personal attacks is getting desperate. Besides if I were Obama, I'd take that as a compliment and as a sign that my strategy is working.
