And... Another Thing that Makes me Grumpy!

So I just posted the discussion about being grumpy because they discontinued one of my favorite things - Vanilla Bean Coolatas at Duncan Donuts. I always take the time to make my discussion look nice and present it in a way that it is easy to read. I like to leave a couple spaces between thoughts so that all the sentences are not all jumbled together. Well, I had it all set up the way I wanted it to look, and then I inserted the picture, and when I was done, and clicked the button to start the discussion, all the sentences were all jumbled together. There were no longer even spaces between the period of one sentence and the first letter of the next sentence. No one probably cares, but it bothers me if that happens even on the days when I'm not grumpy. Do you find it nicer to read discussions that are spaced out nicely? Do you like your discussions to look that way, or don't you care if one sentence just runs right into the next one? If none of these things concern you, then just tell me what things made YOU grumpy today.

This happens in my email a lot and it drives me nuts, but I've learned to kind of expect it and then it isn't so bad!

For what it is worth, the discussion is nice and neatly spaced in the actual discussion, even though it was not in the e mail.

Okay, you guys are talking about adding a picture to a post - I've never done. I don't think I knew we could! But I've never had a problem here with spacing getting messed up, but this is probably why. If I wanted to add a picture how would I do that, can we use html in posts?

Awww...I think you need to be up to a certain number to be able to add pictures to your posts. Maybe 500? I forget. But I remember trying to do it before and I had to wait. When the time comes, you will see blue words over on the left toward the bottom. Keep on posting and soon you'll be able to use all the features. But no HTML that I know of.

hi momalisa I have tried to space things and found they did the same thing to me so I just gave up and let them do with it what they will. seems to be their habit for some reason so nowI just leave it all inone big paragraph as that is how they have been sending it lol.

Well I care, I think it is sad you went to all the trouble of making it easy to read and it got messed up. It is very hard to read HUGE paragraphs, after awhile some words blend into the others. What made me grumpy today??? Oh where do I begin, I have a stupid buyer who had an offer on a nice house, we had the engingeer in he said all is ok, will need updating at some point in the future. SOOOOO, then her father goes on a rant and says well this looks old....blah blah... and I hope you have another hundred thousand to put into it. So then she gets scared and lowers the offer. HA! like the homeowner will do anything for them when the engineer okayed everything. All the homes around which may be more updated are at least $100,000 -200,000 more. it had everything she wanted at the right price. Mind you she is very fussy to begin with and it took her almost a year to decide on this one. Oh well, that is why many Real estate agents drink

This must just be your grumpy day. Seriously, I responded to your other post and I didn't see where it looked bad at all. I do like to read nicely spaced and punctuated discussions. I hate it when someone never puts in a period or a capital letter when needed. The sentences all run together and it is very hard to make sense of the discussion. I have come across several lately that I would have had a response for had I been able to read the discussion easily. BUT yours are fine. I've never had a problem reading them. But I do know what you mean about no spaces between the end of one sentence and the beginning of another. Have no idea why the editor would do that.

Basically just the heat makes me grumpy, but that is enough in and of itself. I am sorry you are grumpy. The discussion looks one way in e mail, then another way when I actually post.

oh i hate it when everything i write gets smooshed into one gigantic paragraph! im like you if they are separate thoughts then they should be separated to help the reader realize that "this" is different (though usually related) than the writing before it. i wonder why it does that though? is it something that is caused by mylot? or something that our browsers do themselves?

I got up to go to grocery shopping and had a flat tire, which really pissed me off. I borrowed my dads car to go and my husband insisted I pick up a hitchhiker who was so big she almost broke up the tiny car. I was late enough for work and when I got to the ferry dock no boats were leaving because there werent enough people travelling at the time. These are all things which made me grumpy so far but I am sure before the day is out I will have a few more incidents, lol.

Your discussion looks like Mein Kemp. My kids made me grumpy, they had mouths like teenagers yesterday, problem is they are 8 and 5. Not sure what was going on but I'd had enough and even my wife noticed my blood was boiling. Hopefully today will be better, well, I know it will, I've taken power back and I'm ready, aim, fire to use it.
