I just found this link, I knew I had to share it with those that would be interested. I saved it to my favorites, you never know when you might need some of the information here. Do you ever want to know what that pill is, what kind of pill it is. Have you ever found a pill in your teenagers pocket, have you spilled your pills and got some mixed up. You just picked up your medicine and the pills look different, want to check on them. This is a great site I just found. You can go to it and identify pills. Its all free and simple to use. You do have to agree to their terms and conditions, thats no big deal. They have lots of other valuable information pertaining to medicines, the uses, side effects, etc. I think this is a site that we all can use at some time or another. Take care everyone.

Polly you are always so good at finding these things, you are always sharing where possible. I see this as a huge help for anyone like me that doesn't believe in all those perscriptions the doctors give out so freely.

Thank you for the link Polly. I know that most of the time the pharmacy will make us aware if a pill has changed in color or shape but not always and those times it is good to check if the pharmacy is closed. Those papers that come with a lot of the meds also come with papers telling all about it but sometimes there is more reading there than I want to read. haha Again, thank you for the link, I also will put it in my favorites. Have a good weekend.

I never had that problem. My sons were not into pills and besides being a Canadian, this site cannot help me. They might have different shaped pills here. When my husband got the pills for his stroke, they were in different colors or shapes so it was easy to not get them mixed up. I usually go to Web Md to get most of my information and find that quite reliable, but thanks anyway.

I will go and check it out, but I have always used Webmd.com for this. I always check on the medications that my doctor's prescribe, before I take them. Doctors do not tell you everything that you need to know about a medicine before you take it. I am very sensitive to many different kinds of meds. So I will read the side effects so that I will know what to look out for. Thank you so much for sharing.

I like webmd too, thats a really good site too. This site helps you identify different pills if you don't know what they are, It has alot of other things going on too. The pharmacist is the best person to talk to about medication not the doctors. I think doctors should do some studying on medications and side effects, specially before prescribing them.

Thanks for this link! I bookmarked it when I got the post notification, and had to check on one of my meds for it's side-effects. Leave it to you to come up with a perfect solution just when I need it!

Thanks for posting this link and information. I know there are a lot of times I do have to go and find the Side effects of things as I often have side effects from Medications I have tried, and if I do not do the research and then question things, it seems like everyone thinks I was making it all up as well. Glad to know there are others out there just as concerned about thinks like I am as well.

I have usually gotten my medication at a military pharmacy. When ever I have had a new prescription or a new one they give me all the information available about it. soon I won't be able to use this service so this is a good site to have. Thanks again for all the information that your are always giving us.

I can't thank you enough for this site. When I am cleaning for many of my clients I often find pills on the floor. They ask me what it is and I haven't a clue. Some of them haven't good eyesight and have problems seeing what the pill is. It will be helpful for me to be able to identify them for them.

Your so welcome, this site is perfect for you. I am sure you find lots of pills on the floor, and with medicine costing so much and insurance companies are so strict, they don't get extras, you can't always throw them in the trash. I am so glad that someone will find the site useful. If you ever get stumped and can't figure out what a pill is, call poison control. They have an 800 number, you don't have to give them your name. I use to call them when my hubby was taking lots of meds, I had to keep track of it all.
